Need subs and an amp for Explorer...HELP!

Alright unlike some of you out there I have a budget for what I can spend on audio equipment and I don't know much about it either. Right now I have a Pioneer 3400 deck with 4, 3-way 6x8 Pioneer speakers and I have now saved up enough money for subs and an amp but I only have at most $650 to spend, and remember I don't know much if anything about all this so installing it myself might be out of the question unless I have a good walkthrough to guide me, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

well if you want mainly SPL go with something like a DD3500 series sub and a jbl1200.1 amp. or you could get a brahma 12" and jbl amp. what kind of bass are you going for??

I don't want something so powerful but with plenty of thump but still have very good sound quality.

acttual install isnt all that hard just a pain running wires

as for subs with that price theres a big selection depending on what size your

will to go with since you said so powerful you could go with some 10s or

dome lower range 12s (200-300rms)and save some money there

just to name a few you look around DONT BY RETAIL.you can find good prices online

look at some of the ones on this home page.

as for amp jbl are good and not to pricey

you can build your own box or buy one for about 90 bucks or less

specs for boxes arent that hard to find

what exactly are you looking for the subwoofers to do??? there are plenty of subs out there for cheap that perform rather well....adire's offerings...jl's offerings...elemental's offerings...if you want to get 2 12's and port them....with say a jbl 600.1 and stay within your budget....snag a pair of e12k's or shiva's....both will knock your socks off with that power....and sound good doing it....
