I need help my subs

My 2,10s sundowns were working good and all then they shut off I was messing around trying to figure out the problem then I pushed the sub in and I felt it playing but when I took my hand off it went away
I did my digging and came to the conclusion that it’s a bad tinsel but I’m not to sure
When I looked at it seemed like the end of the tinsel was a little brown like if it was burnt a bit could this be the problem to both of my subs ?
I would appreciate anyone helping me out

This would be a good indicator of a bad tinsel lead.

like if it was burnt a bit could this be the problem to both of my subs ?

This is correct if the subs are wired in series. Try connecting the other sub by itself.
