i got a ported box made for 2 15" L7's.. one is blown so i had to take it out...and now i have a pointless box, the air just comes right out. is there anything i can do to cover the hole? i tried a piece of MDF but it just rattles like crazy....anything i can do?

what about making a new front piece and just cut out the one hole for your sub and port?

go find a cheap single sub prefab box.

you can put a piece of mdf over the hole. Put weather stripping to make it airtight and screw it in. youd have to fill the screw holes wehn you take the piece off though.

hows this....u already put a piece of MDF over the hole right?

pull it off, and put weatherstripping down, where there the temp board, and the other piece meet. then pyt the other MDF back down and screw it back together. gives a good seal, but u have to remember to chill the gains a bit...it may just be ur sub ratteling.
