I need some advice somebody said they contacted me through a friend to a post I had on here but you email me instead of coming through this website and is it out of line to receive the item or get confirmation before sending a payment to this person? I had told them to contact me through this website and we can do business through here for everybody can see his buyer selling rating. And what kind of confirmation could I get from this person before I send the payment if they decide to go that route thank you in advance for all the help

Since said party decided to go that route, stipulate that you want to receive and test said product before payment is sent. I do not think this website receives monetary compensation for sales between members.

If you're trading or buying/selling, you could make a post in the equipment for sale thread to post both users' ends of the agreements.

Scammer have been sending PMs. I've already received a few on here and a few on DIYMA. They say I have the item you are looking for, please message me at this email address or this phone number. I told each of them I need pictures of the item with their username and today's date on a piece of paper and I would be paying via cash on delivery. So far, nobody wants to go that route, lol
