OK lets start. my hu is properly grounded to the chassis and so is the amp,. good Shielded rca and nice clean short ground cable to the chassis on both the hu and amp. its a 4 channel.

The problem, every time i turn off an accessory ex Hid or AC theirs a small static coming from the speakers, even with the amp off, even with the rca disconnected and even with the hu off. when i do however have the hu and amp on its slightly increases, but definitely coming out of the speakers,

Note: it only happens when i switch the accessories of like when i turn off the hid or switch the ac off, its not consistent but definitely happens when i do it, now main concern is that it does it randomly as well through the day.

Please help!!

The first thing I would try is to disconnect the RCA cables from the amp and see if the problem persists. If it does, then you know it is an issue with the amp, probably a grounding issue. If it does not happen with the RCA cables disconnected from the amp, the issue is before the amp and most likely a bad ground at the HU, or possibly a defective HU. See the stickied thread about engine noise to see how to ground your RCA cables behind the HU.

retard.

What he said did not make sense. If he has everything disconnected and it still makes noise in every speaker, how is that possible? That is why I made the suggestion that I did.

If you have something to offer as far as advice, and not a personal agenda, then have at it. Otherwise, this is not my thread that you are spamming *******.

check your engine to chasis ground. also check out your spark plug wires, unless it'd doing it with the engine off too. i've seen bad plugs induce noise. i know you said that it does it when the stereo is off, does it do it if your power wire is disconnected?
