Need some opinions on subs

what kind of vehicle will this be in? how much space are you using? and i know you said you listen to mostly classic rock and the bass doesn't need to be rediculous, but would you rather have a little more bass rather than not enough. what i am trying to say is do you think you will feel like you want more bass if its not loud enough or do you just want to add bass line to your music?

It will be in a 1975 Pontiac LeMans. I would like to have enough bass to make the car rattle but not an outrageous amount. I'm gonna use a 500 watt Alpine amp for the two subs. If I get two dual 4 ohm voice coil type s 10 inch subs then the amp will see a 2 ohm load and give each sub 250 watts. The subs have a 300 watt rms rating.

pontiac lemans ha, so will your subs be in the trunk then. not real familiar with the design. also do you have a budget? any idea what kind of room you have to work with

I don't have a ton of room since the fuel cell and battery are also in the trunk. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif I'm pretty sure two tens will fit though. Here is a pic of the whole car right now, working on getting it painted and some other finishing details.

Are you talking about the alpine mono amp that you linked? If so, you cannot get a final 2 ohm load with two dual 4 ohm subs. Your options for two dual 4 ohm subs is 1 ohm, or 4 ohms in the end for a single output for a mono amp. You could get a two channel and run each channel at 2 ohms. I would go with a mono block amp stable @ 1 ohm first, then a 2 channel stable at 2 ohms per channel. That is of course if your going with dual 4 ohm subs.

I got mixed up, I meant two dual 2 ohm subs.

I might go with the setup in bold, what kind of wiring do I have to run to support it? Where is the best place to get wiring supplies? thanks for all the help
