Need some opinions on subs

I am new to the whole car audio thing, so please help me out here. I don't claim to know anything and would like to learn. I don't need ground shaking bass just good bass for mostly classic rock. Would I need 2 tens or just one ten? Or would a single 12 work better? I will probably build my own sealed box because I don't have a ton of room or a way to engineer a ported box. Here are some subs I'm thinking about,

Single 12, http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=18329

Or two of these, http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=21994

I also am thinking about this amp to drive them, http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=21398

Also how do I wire in two subs to one amp? thanks for the help

i would go wht the single 12'' sub 1 cft sealed. wireing your subs depend on your amp and ohm load it can take .so lets say you have a single 12'' dual 4ohm sub it can be wired down 2ohms or 8ohm you can look it up on the rockford fosgate site wire wizard

I know....I was just saying that for the type r, it only likes ported boxes and gets loud.....

I think the OP would be happy with the Type S he listed. But ID is nice too in sealed boxes.

Well then I'll put a type S in a sealed box since I don't have a ton of room. Why do you say alpine sounds like poop, hornedfrog? Also is the amp I linked to any good? thanks for the help
