well HOalt or a second alternator are the most obvious solutions for more continuous pwer, i don't know about any other ways. I have a 2007 toyota yaris base edition. and i wold like to be able to power my system. i have a total of five amps whose amp rating are around 200 amps.( i kinda doubt that i will be using each of my amplifier's maximum output ratings so you can probably subtract a few amps total.)

k here are my amps fuse ratings:

BA gt-24: 3x20A

MA audio HK 1000D: 2x30A

2 of JL Audio e2150: 20A each

JBL gt0 75.2: 1x30A

coustic xm6 crossover linedriver: approx 2A

now the easiest soluton would be to replace the stock alternator, but i can't find any HOalt for my vehicle.

the next idea would be to get a second alt. but i have no idea if this would work

if anybody has any suggestions to get a lot more continous power to this vehicle id aprreciate it

*** all parts are currently stock, and i have a 1/0 kit in my closet with a 250 Amp fuse.

a second battery, or better yet....

a V8 and a large case alt... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

k my 2 jl e2150 are bridged to power one component set each

my hk1000d is wired down to 8ohm for 250watt output for my two midbasses(kinda waste of an amp i know)

my jbl gt0 75.2 powers two midrange speakers prob my rear since it will be less powerfull than the other midrange

and my BA GT-24 is bridged @ 2 ohm to provide 900 watts rms to my BA spg555 @14.4v

call ohio gen for a alt hey should have one since they have one for a echo and a scion but mine cost $550 it is a 130 amp then get a kinetik 2400 it should fit easily with a lil modification. It does in my echo the yaris might be different under the hood after that you should be set or if you want get a smaller kinetik. I am running 3000 rms which is why i need the big stuff. If you have any questions pm me and ill answer them.

U can fit a HUGE battery (a cactus sounds 9000 fits) under the hood of a yaris

I now believe in the yaris after seeing 2 of them do QUITE well in the street classes at Db drag finals

he may not needed it but it will help out alot recharging the batteries faster i know mine took for ever recharging my kinetik 2400 it usally took a 1hr highway drive to go up from 13.5 - 13.6 now it takes maybe 5 mins. Of course maybe the alt are different now on the yaris compared to the echo.
