Electrical question?

i was wondering about my electrical in my car its a 2000 grand prix and i have a yellow top under the hood and the big 3 done in 0 gauge and 0 gauge power wire along with a 160 ho alternator.

i was wondering what else i will need to do to run a ma audio hk4000 and 4 alpine pdx 4.150's in my car

will i need to add extra batteries in the trunk and if so how many, and what else can i do or should that be good not to blow the amps from all the current draw?

the biggest ****ing HO alt you can get, and as many g31 batteries and you can stuff in the car.

im saying if you can get a bigger one, that would be a good idea. however, if its gonna cost you $400 for a 200 amp unit, then no its not worth it.

you will probably need more than 2 yellow tops in the back for that amp. it is known to be pretty **** inefficient in making power and needs gobs of current to back it up.

may i suggest http://www.remybattery.com and picking up as many Deka Intimidator g31 batteries as you can? they will run you $140 a piece plus shipping. that is unless you can get the yellow tops cheaper.

also would it be better if i got say a 300 amp alternator or is that just crazy big??? and where is a good place to get one that big?

what is the diffrence between g31 a and t? and all the rest of the yellow tops?

cuz i think the one i have now is a g34 but im not sure

You can do multiple alts if your pockets are deep enough.

no i dont think that i can do that, cuz dont the brackets cost like 200 bux for them and then 2 $400 alternators, thats a grand and i dont wanna spend that much

is it realistic to run all that with a 200 amp alternator 3 yellow tops (1 under the hood and 2 in back) all with 0 gauge?
