No remote wire on the back of my deck

I had mine ran to the battery, with a switch, but I would constantly forget to turn it off. I just ran mine to the remote on the back of the headunit, and put a switch on it for when I don't want them on anyway.

The red accessory wire, or power antenna wire should work I hear

Power antenna may not work because some shut off when the CD player is on.

A toggle switch can be found anywhere.

Radioshack, wally world, napa, etc... anywhere pretty much, just needs to be a 12v toggle switch.

Word of caution: If you get one's with the LED's in them, mount them in a place so the LED cannot sine up to the windows, my buddy did that (he had 3 switches like that too) and you couldn't see at night haha

Edit:

Good point IceTeeBone

you wont even need a switch, the red acc wire runs off the key. so when the key is on, the red wire will be on.
even with an extra switch, you still need the key in the on position..
im with az on this one.

i mean why would you have the key in the on/acc position if your not listening to the radio anyways?

sure you might need just a dome light and all, but that will be for like 15 secs and then the key is taken out again.

i say use the accessory wire.
