hey... just thought Id ask what you guys think would be the best way to actually KEEP the system in the car... I had mine stolen to other night.. I wanna get a custom box made to make it too much of a pain to even take it... but I just thought I would ask what ya thought first....

well i keep my car in my garage every nite...if its daylight then i leave it in the drive way...the best way to doo it

#1 thing to do is keep the stereo down in residential/populated areas. Don't attract people's attention with your stereo.

Tinted windows help aswell...harder to see in to see what you have.

A good functioning alarm obviously would help.

Keep as much as possible hidden from plain view. Hide the amps and wiring, etc etc. Use security screws to fasten everything down.

I don't think shaved handles would help much...just as easy to bust out a window.

I had it turned down... but I had to be an idiot and put JL Audio stickers on the windows... which are gone now.. maybe this is why they call them "steal me stickers" ay?

D'oh. The sentiment remains the same however. This gives me good pause about how much I want to do to the outside of my car. Perhaps I should just keep it in stock/stealth mode heh.

We had some people raid our cars at school and steal systems and guess who's system was left untouched.
