Is it possible to combine the wattage u get from the head unit with the wattage with another amp to get more power per channel?

For example would i be able to take a headunit getting 27Wx4/rms and combine it with a amp pumping out 50Wx4/rms to give main speakers 77Wx4/rms?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

It is possible...........if you want to fry something or start fires or not have anything work right...LOL HIGHLY recommended not to do that!
