his calculations are right. at least before port displacement. knowing the width and lenght of the port is needed.

if 16.5 x 19x 16 is external then wouldnt 1.5" from all sides be 15 x 17.5 x 14.5???

he said my dimensions are 17.5 x 15 x 13.75...thats where im confused

Ok so heres the scoops. Get 2 Type ARRRR 10's that tryin to build a box for. Goal was for 3cubes net after all disp. tuned to 30hz. Well my ingenius self built the box and didnt take into account the freekin trunk opening!! Sooo I have to build 2 smaller boxes to make it work. This is the best design i could come up with.. its just a tad under 1.5 after disp. again tuned at 30, subs firing to the side and port back. My biggest concern is the distance between the basket and the port wall. Its marginally less than the port width. Car is a 95 Accord, powering em with zx1000.1 @ 2ohms(2subs) max dimensions are 33wX19dX16h but again have to be broken into two boxes to fit. So 16.5wX19dX16h outside dimensions per box.
Any critique or better ideas would be appreciated..thanks

Sorry the ag is screwing us up, but glad i was right on that...so my port calcs are 1.75 x 14.5 x 46.25 that would give me .68 right???

i see where the confusion comes in but i did list all my dimensions in my post, i just left the top panel off so you guys could see the port configuration..no worries at least i know im not crazy...lol thanks

PART 2!!!!!

Ok so after you guys help I decided to redo and found 30hz just aint gonna happen. So new box is just under 35hz same original dimensions ( 16.5x19x16 ext) but new port is 1.75x14.5x33 and after acounting for all wood and stuff I get a port disp of .87 so this should leave me right where i want @ 1.5 cubes that the sub sees. Please let me know if theres any screw ups in this one. thanks in advance

you will destroy the sub if it cannot vent at the pole it will cook

you have 17.5 x 15 x 13.75 internal so at best 1.35cf net
