I have a Kenwood KAC-8151D. and one 15" sub thats gonna be wired to 2 ohms.

When using a digital meter what am i trying to match with the my mono amps specifications? in front of me right now i have my mono amps specifications and it says alot here about voltage but i dont know which one i am looking for.

am i looking at the General: Operating Voltage = 14.4V????

if thats the right one i suppose to multiply 14.4 by 2 right? and having 28.8 as the answer thats the result i need to be getting from the meter right??

or am i wrong?

you multiply the watts rms at the ohm ur at buy the ohms ur running and take the square root of that, so if ur amp puts out 400 watts @ 2 ohms, u would do 400x2 and then take the square root of that,

blah blah, huh.

That was one big ramble //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. I got it, but dunno if he did. Amp Power(rms at 14v) mulitplied by the subs impedance=n. Solve for the square root of N, and you are good to go.
