Need Prof opinion on this please.

Ok so i bought 2 kicker l7 15's 2 ohms. i ordered them off the internet, but at diffrent times, so i got one today, and the other one will be arriving next week. So my problem is i have a boss 3500 mono block amp it puts out 2200 watts rms at 2 ohms, i know it would be ok with that much wattage to two subs but what if i hook up just one for right now? is it safe, and i wouldnt blow it if i turned the gains and stuff down? please help.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

put the gains all the way down, use common sense, play it low until it loosens up a bit.

i dont suggest you do 2krms burps as soon as you put it in....

wheres the bs flag....

i own one. at one ohm that amp will do about 1400 watts of power.

those are max power ratings

and i will tell you again. it will not do 2200 watts. at 2 ohm expect about 8-900 watts of power. maybe a little more.
