need opinions on new tv....ready to buy

well after looking around for prices, i found it at buydig.com for 695$ shipped to me. sound like a better deal now?
For that I would just get it at best buy....best buy is good to deal with, and if there is a prob they will come to yur house and fix it. I think if its over 20" they come to yur house.

yeah but i hate dealing with geek squad and i believe you pay for there services. dont you have to buy a plan for them to do that?

yea, but its worth it imo..

i bought a 42" sony lcd-projection 3 years ago w/ a 4 year plan @ bb

they've replaced the bulb, input board twice, and some thermal switch... 2 days after i bought it i snapped the hdmi port inside it, because i bought too short of a cord and tried to move the tv.

the plan covered it.... then 3 years later the tv kept saying it was overheating and when they fixed that they replaced my bulb for free, even though it didn't need it. All was done while i was sitting on my couch..

+ you can try to deal w/ the salesperson @ best buy.. When i got my tv they threw in a hdmi cord, the service plan, and a 1080i upconverting dvd player for the original asking price of the tv...

It's your tv go to best buy and look at all of the tv's and just get which one you like. I wanted to get one of the panasonic's at best buy but they were sold out everywhere and said they were back ordered for the next 2 months, but I was going to the 50 inch, so I went to walmart and got a sanyo 50 inch which I like alot and I got for a 1000 with a 3 year extened warrenty. I didn't listen all the hype people build up around the spec's of the tv's I went by what I though looked best and was the best buy it's my tv and as long as I like I don't give a shit what anyone else thinks.

well i will still be looking around and am not set on this tv until i actually see it in person. im hoping to go to BB tomarrow, and possibly walmart today to check out some tv's.

i would like to pick one up now, but part of me is saying wait till black friday, but i also no that its very tough to get a good deal on black friday lately for tv's.

i will go check some out though.
