Okay I will be starting a box soon and need some info and opinions:
4 12" Kicker L5 2x2 cv's wired in parallel series on a Orion 2500d in 10 cuft ported.
Okay what would be a good frequency to tune it to? 32-34?
Should I do a Round port or slot port and why?Or it doesnt matter just do what ever is easier?
Slot vs Round Ports
I dont know to much about the differences between them....only the slot has a very lower amount of port noise but creates more drag which in case lowers the spl numbers(fell free to let me know this is wrong but I am sure I read that somewheres around here,Ohyea I am not lookin to build a competition box or any thing) Round ports create more turbalance which equals more port noise but has less drag= spl and so on,I was also told inverting the round port reduces this as well has those areoports.
SSF what should I set it t? The ssf settin will change will port tuning right?
And these L5's look kinda kewl inverted,Will this give me a different sound out of my subs? Pros and cons of inverted and regular mounting?
