need more opinions on subs

i hate my indecisivness

here's my story...

i HAD a set of infinity kappa 12 perfect VQs...never installed em myself, but i'd heard them before, very nice subs in small sealed enclosures...

well, i paid $365 for a pair of the (yes, brand new, and factory authorized, actually got em off CarDomain)....and now they're sold (someone offered $500, yea...let me turn down more money than i paid //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif ..)

anyways, im searching for a new setup

i'd like to do a single 15, but the only drivers i really want are on insane backorders (aka Adire Brahma MKII)....now, i KNOW the ascendant audio avalance15 looks good on paper, but ive never heard one in person, and i trust my ears...

the IDMAX 15 is an option, XXX seems nice, but i dunno for a sealed enclosure...

im also lookin at getting 2-3 10's (3 10's > single 15 cone area wise, and given the same power in a similiar enclosure, should get just as loud)

from what i've researched so far (quite a bit)....the only sub i'd really want would be a trio of Diamond Audio M6's (10", dual4ohm VC's)

now i've heard a pair of m6's in a civic sedan, they SLAMMED (granted, they were ported, and only getting ~ 350w each)...but for a ten, their peak to peak excursion is insane.....in my car, they'd be sealed, and getting 1300-1400w to the trio (wired to 1.33ohms, running off a cadence z7000, which is a tad underrated @ 1500x1 @ 1ohm)

prices seem to be nearly the same....the IDMAX is like $480...the brahma is $450 (7month backother though, ridiculous that a ****ing company cant keep up with its demand...they've BEEN in demand for years now)...and the 3 DA M6's would be like $550 shipped (not factory auth'd....but i'll be ****ed if i'd pay $350 each for 10's....thats why i wont look @ JL 10w6v2's)

opinions? suggestions? try to keep to something remotely established...i'd like to demo the subs before i buy em

for a 15" the XXX or IDMAX are both very good choices, the idmax would like the sealed better, the xxx will hurt in a large ported box

id not do the 3 10's seems like a deffinate waste of money, plus if your gunna do 3 10's why not 2 12's instead? usually its a lil cheaper

ascendant audio from what ive read is really nice, what about throwing down for a 13w7? used would most likley put it back within the 400-500 xxx new price range

in that case, i may order a brahma. can you give me a shipping quote to 02151? (i'm assuming you are an authorized Adire dealer?)...and do you have a gaurantee that they will ship in one month??? ... because when my friend adam ordered his, iirc it was nearly 5 months before he recieved his brahma 15 mkii

just get the AV15. you will be super pleased. but i would NOT give it 1500w.

i wont buy something i havent already demo'd by ear. the avalanche subs look good on paper, but i already have my amps (Cadence Z7000 and Z9000), and the sub setup has to be capable of at least 1200w (depending on how i wire it)... im still debating on the trio of 10's....or another pair of 12's....i honestly dont know exactly what i want yet, but it has to compete with the SQ of my front stage (CDT EuroSports, 4way seperates)
