iv looked at the Resonant Engineering sx i want them and the sound splitters but i cant aford them between the cdplayer and amp what would be a good sub for a total of like 250 for 2 12" sub that sound good and are loud iv got 2 sony xplod 12's but dont like them please help.

u cant get a single SX? get a single 12" build a nice ported box for it. No need for mulitple sub setups.

1 SX would kill 2 W0s. Twisted clown so you did look at my information i sent. if you can get 1 SX it would be alot better than 2 cheaper 12s. No one believe it is just one 12 when they hear my setup. but most people around here are used to cheap stuff. if money is still an issue you can get some different subs. like 2 Res or and Li or SE

Have heard a lot of subs, i've heard the xxx but not the sx so I can't comment on that (have heard only good things about it). Honestly, the 2 jl's I heard wasn't that far from my 1 orion h2 15". The dude who had the jl's had that explorer deadened with like 200 sq. ft of second skin and it was powered by some mtx amp that was putting out like 200 watts so I was pretty surprised when I heard it.

In defense, I've got a buddy that has three 10W0's in his Subaru hatch, and those things get pretty loud for what they are.

well if u have 3 woofers in a hatchback how can it not be decently loud. say what u want but my opinion is that the JL w0's are complete crap and overpriced to hell.
