Got me thinking bout what you ran across OP... so i averaged the heights and depths just to see and got 2.9ft3 gross... wierd and first ive seen to come out this way, the original one I rechecked the file in Winisd to see how volume worked out and it was 2.45ft3 with dual 4" ports and was 56" wide. Good call... apparently this shape is tricky and in this case i got more volume with less width. Can't say why but I'll be rechecking volumes by averaging out any height/depth measurements from now on.
So that box i posted above was around 2.3 ft3 net @ 37hz... lengthening the port to 24" will drop volume to around 2.2ft3 @ 34hz... widening the box to 56" changes it to 2.35ft3 @ 33.5hz... im gonna recheck a few designs now... those crazy shapes apparently screw you... and its NOTHING to average out heights/ depths to recheck... thx, good call. Here it is averaged out with displacements quick and dirty...
