Hey Osiris,

Ummm, this should get you pretty excited. I don't know who you talked to over at Soundstream but they must have misguided you. Right now you only have half the power supply hooked up to your amp, that's right!!! You need to use both power inputs!!!! No wonder you weren't feeling the "bass pounding into your chest"

An XXX powered with 1600 watts probably even more cuz SS is usually under rated, should be insanely loud, ofcourse with the right enclosure.

Here is an email I sent to SS and the Techs reply:

ok i hooked mine up useing one set for 2 g power and ground and turn on and left the other open. the i got my component amp and conected the the open power ground and turn on from the vga 1600 to the component amp. so the component amp gets all its power from the vga and grounds to it. everything works fine. with the new box and a good ground the xxx takes my breath away on some songs. its loud as hell so i dont think you have to give power to both.
