Need inspiration for Ford Ranger upgrades

Okay....I finally have the audio system completely to my liking, at least sound wise......still need to hide some wires. I took some pics with my uncle's digicam today, and i will post a link in this thread when he emails them to me. It's the sound I've always dreamed of.....very boomy with nice sharp highs and more buttons and knobs than i know what to do with. Anyway, with the audio and interior work done, it's time to start work on the body, suspension, and possibly some custom paint. Here's where you come in. If you've seen or owned a tricked out standard cab Ranger, please help me with either pictures or descriptions of what I can do to finish my truck. I'm open to all suggestions, and this is a general idea of what I want:

1. Stock engine and drive train. Any engine or drive train upgrades must add to fuel efficiency rather than take away. I drive this truck at least 90 miles a day 5 days a week, and fuel economy is a huge issue.

2. No more audio or interior work. That's done.

3. No air bags or c-notches. This is a daily driver.

4. Rims must be at least 17" and cost no more than $1200

5. Body kit (roll pan, facia, shave job) is a must.....but I need to see what different ones look like before i go out and buy one and I'm having a hell of a time finding pictures.

6. Maybe I could throw a turtle shell on there, cut out the back glass and......

Thanks in advance!

Rangerman:

I definatly want to shave off the door and tailgate handles as well as the styling line and the tail lights, but i'm having problems finding the filler pieces and the remote controlled pops. If you could direct me to a website that carries such things, i'd appreciate it.

About four months ago, a guy that my dad knows wrecked his 4wd Ranger that had newly refinished factory rims and brand new firestone semi-offroad tires. I bought all four rims with tires for $150 and sold the factory 2wd rims. I don't think i can lower it with these rims on it.....they're 15" with 270/60 rubber (i think, but not sure). They look slick with the factory suspension (everyone thinks it's a 4wd) but i think maybe they're too wide for a lowered truck.

Ohhh...get the rims before you lower it then...

Best door poppersv around...

Rims- 17x7 w/ a +40mm offset

Then 3 inch DJM I-beams in front and a 4 inch flip kit in the rear consisting of 2 two inch rear hangers...should give your ride a smooth feel.
