Just Bought New Alpine Iva-300 With New Alpine Speakers Up Front And In Back, New 2 The Audio Thing Can Someone Explain How I Should Set Up My Bass Engine=there R Level,frequencyand One Other Setting . Can Someone Tell Me Where 2 Set These At For The Best Possible Sound, The Radio Dosent Sound As Good As It Did Inside The Store?

reason why it doesn't sound as good... they probably had amps hooked up to the speakers... read your owner's manual... and change the settings to your liking... put in some music that you like and read how to change the settings... i can't tell you what your ears like...

First things first, yeah, they have a regulated 14.4 volt power supply, which your car doesn't. They have no background noise, which your car does. They have a big open space where cancellation from door resonance isn't a problem, which your car does not. They probably had some nice amps attached to the speakers, which you are not running. It's no surprise that they sounded better in the store than in your car.

So, yeah. Install the stuff, listen to it, if you really don't like it, send it back. But play around with it for a few days to make sure.
