Need help with Installation Please help

Hello everyone well,

I have a Kenford Amp and a Jl Audio Sub

I really need help on how I should connect this as I do not know much about this stuff i can provide the specs.

On the amp it says:

-2 OHM STABLE

-BRIDGEABLE HIGH POWER 2CH AMPLIFIER

-T.H.D 0.03%

-MOSFET CLASS "A"

-BUILT IN CROSSOVER

-250W + 250W = 500 W

and the sub specs are as follow:

Key Features:

Car Speaker Function Subwoofer

Size 12"

Type Component

Elements 1-Way

Powered Non-Powered

RMS Power 300 W

Technical Features

Impedance 6 ohm (Duel Coil)

Sensitivity 86.9 dB

I do not know how to connect this like

should I bridge? What wire gauge do i need?

Etc..

Any help I would really appreciate it since I really want to get into this.

Research! you will probably get more info on google or youtube like I did.

anyways just buy an amp wiring kit from a Walmart they have different max wattage and it includes almost everything you need. for you buy the 670 watt max kit Im assuming. I would bridge

If I bridge doesnt it mean that im running 500 watts into a 300 watt sub?

Wont that harm my sub?

It is the bottom one

These were my dads and he handed them down to me as he does not use them anymore and i have not owned a car that long to know all this stuff

We are in the same boat here, I've only had my vehicle for about 6 months. I don't know much about this either but google bridging and select the safer option at first to test then if you are not satisfied with the level of base then look into the not-as-safe option
