Need Help With HT Box

I have a Pioneer sub that is hooked up to my 5.1 Ultra Klipsch system. The sub is extremly loud and adds the thump I need. But at high volumes its like the stock box that came with it can't hold up. Air is leakin and the box is rattleing. I want to make a new box for this sub and I want it to be identical to the box exect it will be made better. It has a round port. What do I need to go about doing to find out what this box is tuned to. I really want to redo this box asap.I can provide model number and pics if needed. i can also provide dimensions of it.It has a built in amp in the back also.

You need gross (outside) dimensions, port length, and port diameter...

Model number and pics would be helpful.

How do I do the port lenth and diameter. How can you get a lenth if its a round port?Ill get pics and model number up asap.

Hmm Im not to sure how to post dimensions.But ill try..

Top: 17x12.5"

Front:13.5x12.5

Amp: 9 7/8"x9 13/16"

Port: 2.5" from side to side of port.

I am actually thiking I might just rebrace the orginal box. With just a little we4ight on the top of the box the rattleing stops.
