middle console (1997 monte carlo) ** PICS **

this is gonna be like a 3 day project log. i am doing monte_carlo97's fiberglass middle console for his car in return for a PA comp set / amp. Just wanted to post some pics since you all love them!!!!

tomorrow i'm going to extend the end near where the screen is to make it flush with the car, maybe even later tonight. and tomorrow i'm also going to cut the back down and make it flush with the mounts.... i'll have more pics up tomorrow. lmk what you think

anywho. i thought it looked crooked, but then i was like- WAIT! its for the DRIVER so its prolly angled.

get some primer on there, and then we will see how she looks! good job so far, but lots more to do! get at it son!

yeah its angled. i still have helllllllaaaa work to do i have to extend the front where the mounts for the floor are all the way around the screen area. i also have to cut the wood off and make it flush with the mounts on the back.

my hands are so raw and cut up its not even funny lol. i've been learning fiberglass for almost a year now, i just never had the $$$ to do anything. this was like a free project for me to work on and give me ideas on mines.

i'll put some more pics up after i get the glass laid.

Lol its not my job to finish it, i just gotta get it shaped and glassed. but i think monte_carlo97 is gonna do black carpet or black paint

lol yeah. i'm on my way to go get some paint brushes. i heard you can get 'em at hardware stores for like $.10 each. i need to get ahold of some since *SOMEONE* didnt put any in my box lol. gotta get to work though. holla!

go to your nearest harbor frieght. they sell a 36 pack for like $10. and a 100 pack of gloves for like $4.
