Need help with box build

So I have an o3 trailblazer and 1 12 inch mtx thunder 5500 svc. I would like to build a box for it that will give it the biguest but best sound and bump by specs. I do not understand the cubic volume stuff though so don't know what to do. Would like a similar box as the link posted below but built for my sub thanks.

MTX recommends 2 cubic feet of volume for a ported box, tuned to 38 hz. Since you have an SUV you plan on putting the box in the trunk area, right? Also, I wish I could explain a little more but I'm at school right now and gotta go. Hopefully someone else can hop on board and help!

you need a box design? I could make one for you and give you the cut sheet list free, I would go 2.5 cubes net tuned to 34hz.
