need help quick.

You shold have one set of wires coming out of your box. match those to one left or right +/-
Ya there is a left +/- and right +/- plug ins on the amp. There are two wires coming out of the amp (other than power wire and all that) There is a wire plugged into both the + and the - on the right. Those two wires both join together to form a bigger wire. **** this is hard to explain mabey ill just take some pics tomoro? oh and misterdeadeye, the bass boost nob is built into the back of the amp i cant unplug so should i just turn it all the way down while setting the gains? and i pretty sure i dont have a digital multimeter. But ya im gona check out youtube videos and do some research about setting the gains and all that.

I thought it was a remote. Nevermind. Turn the bass knobs all the way down, yes.

And you can get a DMM like anywhere. WalMart, Menard's, Radio Shack, etc., etc.

I sayed how it was wired a few posts ago. just never really got a clear answer.

ok last question how should the sub sound? like what kind of sound am i looking for when setting the gains? and should i never use the bass boost built into the amp? just leave it turned all the way down? Also i can adjust the bass level from my head unit. Is it bad to turn that all the way up?

nvm i googled it ok thank you everyone for the help.

Anything you do to boost the bass will make the bass sound more sloppy and distorted. This isn't so good for the sub. I personally never use the bass boost on the amps however I will use the SW subwoofer booster on the deck, it seems to add to the bass without adding too much distortion. I actually run the system on +2db SW most of the time.
