Running subs off of battery? Kinetik 1400R

This is running 2 12" RF P2's with the RF Power T500.1bd 2009 version amp at 1 ohm. I got a Kinetik 1400R battery under hood with pretty new alternator (stock). I was listening to music with out car running for an hour and car started up fine.

The question I have is how long can I do that without the battery being completely dead and start the car? I listened to hard bumping bass for an hour and it was fine. How much longer can I do it? Anyone know?

The only way to tell would be to measure how much current your drawing and the calculate, there are so many factors that come into play after that. There is no real way of telling you exactly how long you have but if you got an hour out of it, I'd say that'd be a safe place to stop and recharge.

I personally would put it on a power supply if your going to be listening to it like that for a while.

what he said...i dont think anyone would be in a really big need for that type of listening...i do it no less than an our but you will problably kill the battery's life

is that kinetik a deep cycle? if you want to play music at idle for that long i suggest in getting another battery in the back and puttin in an isolator. when i listen to music with the car idle, ill turn it on for like 5 min and just let it charge a little bit
