Ya there is a left +/- and right +/- plug ins on the amp. There are two wires coming out of the amp (other than power wire and all that) There is a wire plugged into both the + and the - on the right. Those two wires both join together to form a bigger wire. **** this is hard to explain mabey ill just take some pics tomoro? oh and misterdeadeye, the bass boost nob is built into the back of the amp i cant unplug so should i just turn it all the way down while setting the gains? and i pretty sure i dont have a digital multimeter. But ya im gona check out youtube videos and do some research about setting the gains and all that.You shold have one set of wires coming out of your box. match those to one left or right +/-

nvm i googled it ok thank you everyone for the help.ok last question how should the sub sound? like what kind of sound am i looking for when setting the gains? and should i never use the bass boost built into the amp? just leave it turned all the way down? Also i can adjust the bass level from my head unit. Is it bad to turn that all the way up?
