Need box specs for 2x 12s

Doing bandpass designs with oversize ports maybe, but in a ported box you may actually hurt more than help. I also like large ports so I’ve gone overboard with port area before, and it can have negative results. Last time I overdid it, it sounded like a sea shell type echo sound coming through the port. Some chuffing on low notes, etc. I’ve had good luck on slot ports sticking between 12-17 sq. inches/cube, depending on power/xmax/space available.
