Need big help with sub integration into factory stereo

Added a LOC and it fixed things up pretty good. Still not very happy with it. Regular cd's sound good and the sub thumps, mp3's sound good but the sub doesn't really thump, sirius radio really lacks the bass! Its almost non existant on the sub.

I think I may just pull the equipment out and sell it. The sub just isn't my thing I guess. Not the deep bass I get from my big home stereo.

I'm sure the Alpine MRX-M50 with the RUX-Knob will go fast. Not sure if anyone wants this sub though. Oh well, my loss, someone elses gain I guess.

Xm and sirius both have terrible audio quality.

The sub is in a small box.

You won't get Window flexing bass out of a small sealed enclosure in most cases.

Do you have any other subs or speakers you can try?

so you got the intregation fixed, the 30sec noise can be fixed with taping into the ignition wire under steering wheel.

if you push down on the sub and it comes up quickly its not sealed well. take some rubberized bedliner or better yet cascade spray dampening and spray the inside of the enclosure to seal it up.

the buzzing sound is probley air leaking...

Will that also fix the issue with no bass out of it with Sirius radio? Truth be told, my 6x9's kick this 10" subs butt with sirius radio going. Its almost funny, my 6x9's thump good with Sirius playing, but the 10 is asleep.

The re-Q that was suggested has peaked my interest. I am running the 4 door speakers and 2 dash speakers off my head unit. They do just fine with bass. I'm tapping into my rear speaker leads with the LOC for the sub. So where and how would this re-Q box help me?

I'm looking into the re-Q and also the AudioControl LC-2i with accubass. I assume these items would take the place of my LOC thus allowing me to use it only for the sub? I suppose I could try this, but scared of wasting more money for no results. I'm a sirius radio junkie, so I'm looking to fix the no bass issue with it. With a cd, its all good, but who the hell carries around a pile of cd's anymore? mp3's on a cd sounds like crap too, but sounds good on my 6x9's of course. The frustration is killin me with this.

Sounds like you've invested a bit of work into this, and the box install looks decent: had to have taken you a while......so why so quick to give up on it?

Granted, the PB is not the sub you would have been recommended if you'd come here, first, but might as well try to find the issue(s) and get something out of it

Actually, @Flex68; , I suggested the sub and amp with the space requirements, depth requirements, and budget specified...and yes, I feel wretched that op is having problems, possibly as a direct result. I have heard a couple of the L10's in slightly larger enclosures(@ 1 cube)sealed that sounded decent on the Memphis 500w amps.
