Even if it is a ounch series? I already have the p500.2 which is the punch series, I think it is alright, no problems with it, I like hte way it looks, I can still fit my nitrous setup in my car with it which is one of the best parts.

Your P500.2 should be putting out more like 600-650WRMS into a 4 ohm mono load. They average out to IIRC 638WRMS x 1 into a 4 ohm load.

birth sheet says 734 bridged, I am not using it bridged, not bridged puts out 225x1rms@4 which is perfect since my type r comps are 110rms a piece.

I am no car audio whiz, I have not tried a sundown or many brands out there that is why I am asking, how much power do you think the sae-1000 actually puts out at 1 ohm then?

People may think I am dumb for asking this but is the rockford punch 1000d under rated or not? Which is the better amp for the money, I can get the sae-1000 and the p1000 for the same price brand new.
