I just purchased one of these to use in my Hyundai Sonata. You have to hook the OEM head unit's speaker output to the cleansweep. Just wondering the best way to do this.

Does it matter what kind of speaker wire I use for this?

Is length a problem (I was going to mount it under the front seat)?

What's the easiest way to get switched 12v for the unit?

Any other suggestions greatly appreciated.

Rut

Haven't gotten it yet but looked at the online manual and it didn't mention anything about what wire to use or how long the wires could be or where to mount it.

i have an mtx req-5. similar processor to the cleansweep, and actually cleansweep was my first choice until i heard the req5 was cheaper and better for the price. i installed mine in my glove compartment right next to the factory amp so my wires werent too long. but no the wires shouldnt be a big deal. if your going to get your source from the hu and run it to the front seat, then you should be fine. also, my req5 has voltage sensing, so it senses power from the factory spaker leads and it powers itself on from that (which is another reason why i bought this) but originally i had tapped into a 12 volt source at my steering wheel, where it would only get a 12 volt source, when i turned the ignition on. BUT you can also check the back of your radio and see if your stock radio has a switched 12 volt source, mine didnt, but yours might.

hope this helps

RTFM and then get back to us. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wave.gif.002382ce7d7c19757ab945cc69819de1.gif
