need advice on 6x9 mount location

So, my Camry originally came with 5¼" speakers in the real - upgraded them to 6½ and now I'm upgrading again to 6x9s. I've made speaker mounts from 5/8" MDF (10x7x3 inches) with the cutout to hold the speakers themselves because there's no way I can cutout a 5 7/8" x 8 11/16" hole in the rear deck - just not enough room there. Now I'm debating where to mount the speaker mounts themselves. I can 1) mount them to the rear deck (frame of the car) and cut out a square so they could pass through the rear deck panel (a REAL pain in the arse to do) or 2) I can simply mount them to the rear deck panel itself and it would be a much cleaner install. I just sorry about vibrations and sound quality. Will it make any difference either way? Any advice is appreciated...

Thanks

if I ever decide to sale the car, if I just mount them to the top of the rear deck panel, then I can take the 6x9s out and put it back to stock. On the contrary, with the former that wouldn't be possible unless I bought a new panel.

wel not the best choice of cars for sound but you have it so let's address the problem at hand 6x9's are a good choice if you have no subs and a good front stage but if you have subs stick with the 5's or 6's cause they will have better sound than most 6x9's but if you want them bad bad news i tried to install 6x9's in a camry a while back and you can't cut the metal rear shelf without loosing strength and posibly insurance but if you know an engineer get them to knock up and installa pair of flat metal pannels to the the shelf and put mdf spacers to suit onnthe metal and mount to that:D //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
