Need Advice for Amps and Subs

I have a Orion Cobalt 702 amp with 2 10" Orion XTR Series. I think the subs are 500watt each. Is the amp good enough to power these two subs? If not, how much is it worth as I may sell them. I was thinking of getting a 600watt sony xplod to power them. I also have 4 speakers and would a 600watt 4-channel amp power them? I need advices before I take everything to Circuitcity to install them since I'm a total newbie when it comes to car audio. These are going to last for 1 year until I get Rockford Fosgate T1s.
