Need a sub and amp for my 08 crown vic

Been out of mobile audio for about a decade and have an 08 crown vic that needs a 12" sub and amp. Box too I guess.

The car its going in is my work car and I drive it year round everyday for work. I'm currently taking out the backseats to make more room. My budget is 500-1000. Been thinking about a hds312 and 1200d amp.

I dunno, Ive been looking around and there is so much on the market now that's new to me. Maybe I'm overlooking something that would sound better in a 12".

Power won't be a problem as I'm stock with a 200a alt.

you planning on building the box yourself? if not @CSCStang can build you one and have it shipped to your door step. For sub and amp yea the hds312 bundle is a good deal.

The amp really isn't what concerns me I guess, its the sub. Is there anything that would sound better than the hds312 but not break the bank? Spending more on

What Jim (Mylows10 recommended) If I were you I'd definitely get that. Its one beautiful sub and hes a great guy to deal with

That IA didnt eat up your whole budget?

What do you hve left? And good choice by going with cscstang on the box you wont be disappointed.

maybe tantric HD? sundown X, FI Q, SSA XCON? got many options with that power on tap

I'm digging the xcon's but here's the thing, I haven't heard anything that's currently on the market.

All I've been doing for the last day is researching stuff. Like the zapco amps I've never seen before, dowant.jpg.

So many company's out there now its mindblowing.

I do prefer s/q over quantity, so maybe you guys could help me pick out a sub to match a ia20.1? Forget my budget too.

i just realized your amp does 2400 i thought it did 1800 for some reason, you can get another level up of subs with that. id try a tantric they are SQL subs by what I've been told and what I've read on them. i currently ordered one from mylows10 can wait to try it out. csccstang is building my box for that as well
