Need a new subwoofer

So it's been awhile... My current setup is a boston acoustics gt2125 amp, RE srx12d4 in a ported 1.8 cf box. Like an idiot i burnt up my tinsel lead on one side. I turned my headunit up past my tuning. So now i need a new sub. I really liked the srx pretty good bass for the past year i've owned it and i'm limited on one sub. And i want to keep this box. Would a sex12d4 be okay to use? Dimensions for the box are- H=13 5/8" W=19 1/4" D=17" If not i can always pick up another srx. Budget is around $100-$150.

The SA-12 that bigbummpa104 has would be a great choice if it's a D4. But regardless what you buy, double check the gain setting on your amp because you shouldn't have burnt that sub up with 400 watts.

A recone kit costs just as much for a brand new one. lol

I heard those sa-12's get down, i'll have to check that out a bit. Pm me details.

No gains up, no bass boost, i swear i had everything going good. I set all the levels at 25 volume max is 50 and it only took getting to 35ish and smoked it.

SA-12. Theres no competition when looking at other 12s. Ppl who know good woofers know SA12s (not 10s or especially not 15s) are a superior woofer compared to other 12s

That's an older sub, pretty sure it was made by Targa and its the Venom line. I remember seeing them back in the late 90's early 2000's if memory...

The Kappa's have a high sensitivity rating of 93 db so the X802-5 would be fine. A good high sensitivity 8" sub in a properly sized box would fit...
