I think there is better for the money Is the MP3, blue tooth, color screen etc. all that important to you?
MP3 yes, the rest no, but I am only a fan of Pioneer. I've tryed everything else, and I've always seem to have issues. Pioneer has always been good to me. I guess you can call me a brand ***** with head units, lol. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

why not go for the 880, and run active //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Never mind, I found some on ebay for $275, lol. That may be the way to go then. It's about $50 cheaper than the 9800 on ebay.

9800 doesnt look to user friendly. i've always been a big fan of pioneer, they are the only decks i have ever bought. I need a new deck myself, but because the new pioneers are so un-user friendly with their controls i think im going to look at an alpine, perhaps the 9885

get the 880. the 9800 bt has a gay crossover. u cant go 3 way active with it. it only has front hpf rear hpf and sub lpf. hpf only go up to 200hz. gay.....

880 prs is much nicer.

I currently have the 860, but it's been giving me a little problems with not wanting to eject my cd's. So I figured it's about time to get rid of it, and get something new. I'm looking at the 9800 as a replacement. What do you think? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

I had the 980bt but had to try the 880 because of the hype! I can say one thing for sure! The 880 sound a lot better than the 980bt. I still miss the station preset bottons the 860 had.

Have you look at the USB units? like the 690? I've installed a few for friends and they like them a lot. If your a big MP3 fan? I would think hard about the USB units.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Indeed! The 880 prs is a excellent deck. Almost got one of those, but I went with the Excelon X-990. Hard to beat the X-990, but of course that is subject to perconal taste. If your stuck on Pioneer, the 880 prs is the way to go.

I have a 9800bt, nice hu and if you want to defeat the crossover you go to custom and set it all flat... The bluetooth is awesome lets me link my laptop so I can chop music then play it before I actually load it to the I-pod. Funny how anyone can get spoiled over a remote that is for a HU that is only 6" away... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Polo..
