need a new car

Im trying to avoid cookie cutter boring autos like camrys and accords. Looking for something a little more sporty. Im looking at sports sedans or coupes right now.

Anyone have any suggestions for cars to look into or avoid?

I found this 2007 maxima and may check it out today. Price seems kinda low though, wondering if something may be wrong with it.

Found a Ford Taurus SHO for sale, but Im trying to avoid buying another taurus, and Im sure maintence costs would be high. Ahhh, so many cars out there.

Any car suggestions to look into? I could put 13k down in cash. Willing to finance the rest or whatever I have to do. Trying to keep the overall cost to around 15k tops. I figure if Im going to buy a car, I may as well get a nice one as opposed to getting a higher mileage older car.

what about a G35? BMW 3 series?

are you leaning more towards coupe or sedan?

you can get an 05-06 G35 sedan for a decent price if you have cash

Im not sure to be honest. Ive only driven sedans, boring ones at that. I figured since this will be my first car bought with my money, I would try something different.

Im kinda still thinking a sedan just because of the extra room. But if I could find a nice sporty coupe with room I wouldnt care either way.

Ill look into the G35 sedan. They are kinda ugly lookin though imo.

Im gonna go out and test drive a Tib and see if I like it.

My brother has a Tib. I hate it. I don't find it comfortable and the turning radius is huge. I do like Maxima's though. Comfy and quick.

that maxima isnt a bad price, my boy just grabbed an 06 se off autotrader with 13k miles for 10600 (steal). My sis has a G35 coupe 6 speed sports package, theyre both nice cars.

Maximas are nice. The CVT ***** in the newer ones is bulletproof.

i grabbed a new 2010 mazda speed3 but u can find a 07-09 for like 13g's...they're sporty and a hatchback which is nice for car audiozzzzzz

Just got back from the two test drives.

I liked both the Tib and the Maxima. They both felt pretty quick to me, couldnt keep foot on the trottle though with the tib cause one of the tires was low. And I didnt take it in the freeway. Aesteically I liked the tib better inside and out. The maxima def had more power. The only thing with the maxima is I felt like I was sitting kind of high, even with the seat as low as it could go and the steering wheel all the way up.

It was funny, the dealer with the maxima pulled it out and said "there ya go". I got inside and he handed me a license plate incase I go pulled over. He didnt even go with me. I wish I knew the area well cause I would of driven longer. I just stayed on a long stretch of road did some quick lane changes and acceleration tests. I almost did a burn out on accident from a stop and got up to the speed limit **** quick.

I liked the tib, but the price is what kills me. I get alot less car for the price compared to a maxima. I actually ended up test driving this one. It has 40k less miles on it.

i have a tiburon, with a few mods it can get fast but i got a good deal from a honda dealership and they wanted to get rid of it so i got it for a crazy deal. i say just keep lookin and do alot of testing and go from there. i went to over 45 dealers and i was ready to go out of sate.
