Need a new 12" Sub, HELP!!

I have a box with 2 subs, but since I had an extra amp and box, I decided to buy a 12" "Punch" sub a couple of years back. Recently, the "Punch" sub broke, so I'm looking for some recommendations on a 12" Sub. Here are the specs for my Amp:

Kenwood KAC-X520

125 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms

250 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms

500 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms in bridged mode

stereo or bridged mono output

Tri-Way capable

infrasonic filter (15 Hz, 24 dB/octave)

50-200 Hz crossovers: 12 dB/octave high-pass, 18 dB/octave low-pass

12 dB bass boost variable from 40-100 Hz (expandable to 6/12/18 dB when connected to a

preamp outputs

Can someone please help me out?

excuse my ignorance, SQ is Sound Quality, what dose SPL mean?

i'll probably get flamed for this but maybe a single type R would be good.

500watts RMS is about what they are at and it was the first thing i could think of. Plus you get a little SQ or SPL with them

SPL = sound pressure level ... basically built to get loud

you shouldnt get flamed different people want different amount of bass

but yea a typeR will get you started ... ull want more .. bass is addicting

i would get another one of your amps and hook them both up to a TypeR

then youll see its potential and build a ported box

if you need help with a ported box just post back
