Hifonics Subs

anybody got any opinions on these:

Hifonics AS12SQ

12" Dual 2 Ohm Atlas Series Square

what do you all think... do you think these would be better than the 2 l5 12's i have now? opinions needed...

i have never heard their subs but their known for their amps and they aren't of very good quality so i would be even more weary of their subs IMO

You need to find someone that has actually heard the Hifonics subs......Dont see them mentioned very often, but until you find someone that has heard them, dont put too much faith in suggestions people give you.

If I had to pick one, without hearing either, Id probably go for the kicker's though.

I would have to disagree with the above posts. I have heard the atlas squares in two diffrent installs by two very well known and reputable competitors in db drag and IMO they perform very well. One is Mike Fallon who has 4 of the in a wall ran by a Goliath and the other was demod by Mike Stiers and Erik Alexander in their Van and all I can say is ****. If I didn't see it to believe it I would have swore they had their MT 18's in there instead of 2 12" atlas squares.

And If you posted this topic over at Termpro there would be others that would be willing to give their honest opinion. Especially from people who have actually used their products.

Well they are actually sq woofers but have amazing output. I am not completely sure if anyone has done direct drop in tests against other woofers though.

You take it back, the XX line is some of the best stuff out.

Ive never even seen a review on there subs.

Ive read a few reviews about hifonics subs. Im looking at buying two 12" 1612 Goliath subs. Ive heard that they're banging subs and sound really good too. But when i get mine and installed and what not, i'll post a review.
