Need a little help - finding ppl

I sold some audio equipment to someone in the carribean (antiguaa). I sent my decks and amp but received no money. I smell a scam so im asking for advice here.

I would rather call the house first to speak to the parents or something instead of calling police first but I need the house number. Or should I call the police or something first can they find out???

basically is there a way to find people and locate their numbers? I need some sort of directory to the Caribbean. thanks for help

How long has it been? And how long since your last contact with him?

So basiclly, your first mistake was sending the goods first. If you think it's fishy, then get in touch with their local PD ASAP, give them all the info you have on him... name, addy, phone, etc...

This is why I don't deal with people outside the US and Canada unless I know them personally...

he was my friend. I gave it to his mom when she came here to visit so I have no address. I gave it to her on December. He said he would send the money to someone in Canada who had the same bank, who would then give it to me. Then he said that person screwed him over so he sent the money to someone else and said that they have it.

I figured he was playing with me when its been 3 months and now he dosen't pick up his phone. Its been about 4 weeks since last contact, I have only have the phone number and his name.

I would call the police in Antigua but i dont know it??

Should have raised a red flag right there. As soon as someone brings in a third-party, that's not mutually-agreed upon, I back out. Just the way it works.

I hate to say it, but you're probably not getting your items or a refund back...

I belive he gave the item to the guy's mom, then the guy told him he would send the money to some guy in canada. Either way, never give/ship anything without gettin money first. Common Sense and basic street knowledge.
