Need a little advise on box design

how so much on the port???? with 380 port area, figuring a box that will end up at about 30 cubes, this is what I get.

380area can be had with any combination, wont make a diff, so:

38 X 10, then for the length, the calculator is saying 12.25 using a square slot port

(38 X 10 X 12.25) / 1728 = 2.7

well i looked at my numbers and this is what i got, these are numebrs for all the diff sizes i might go with.

Aslo I use Win Isd to get the port lenghts. cold be why they are off some.

the 11.5 is for a double thick wall. 10 + 1.5

30 ft^3 @ 30 - 38 x 11.5 x 21.67 = 5.48 ft^3

30 ft^3 @ 32 - 38 x 11.5 x 17.10 = 4.32 ft^3

28 ft^3 @ 30 - 38 x 11.5 x 24.37 = 6.16 ft^3

28 ft^3 @ 32- 38 x 11.5 x 19.47 = 4.93 ft^3

yeah that looks about right, don't forget to subtract the length of the port that is in the front baffle as well. Don't know why there is such a difference in port length. When I go for quick numbers this is what I use:

Although, that was clicking slot port. I don't know how much different if factors it, not being a slot but I think it is a little longer.

used that link to check all the numbers they are only off by a couple hundreths of an inch. so shoulc be good, just got to get my batts in so i can get started on this mammoth bastard.
