Need a little advice

Alright I am getting 2 dd 2515s, or 3515s depending on the price difference. I am then going to buy 1 2 channel amp instead of 2 monos. Can anyone who has these subwoofers recommend a good amp for what I am doing, I know this gets asked alot, but I don't want to underpower these subs by getting a **** amp. I would prefer to stay around $400 but that will grow with time. I am stuffing them into a 87 mustang lx hatchback, and I was wondering if I would need two batteries and another alternator, or just a high output alternator and one battery?

If you run the together that is a 1 ohm load on the amp. You need an amp that can do 1600watts RMS @ 1ohm.

I'd get the 3500's, but I believe it's a pretty steep price difference... Is the $400 budget just for an amp?

If it is, and you do get the 3500's, look at the Audiopipe 3000.1D, AQ2200D, Hifonics BXi2610D, and MANY more...

If you get the 2500's, go for around ~1,500-~2,000WRMS... (Careful getting 2,000WRMS with these. Watch the gains, and make sure you're not going past thermal/mechanical limits)

we setup a buddy with 3 3510's and a DD m2 on each one. He has a high output alt and 3 batts, Leaves the car on charge when He is not driving. It is unreal to listen to.

DDA's and DDc's in the door

Wifes 90 Notch will be getting 8 DD 510's in the next week or two and will use two Memphis 1500's or one 4K on them.

Run two 3515's in yours with 1k or better on each should be awsome.

You don't need two mono amps. You would only need one and have the the correct ohm load to it.

For example ONE AQ2200d and two DVC 4 ohm subs would give you a final ohm load of 1, which would give you plenty of power for either selection.

You can run as many subs off a mono amp as you want as long as they are wired to show the amp an acceptable ohm load.
