Need a little advice on AQ HD3 15

So it seems my AQ HD3 15 needs a recone it started to bottom out on me after i got the amp tuned and the new box. Should I get the recone and do it myself (prolly would **** it up never did one before) or just buy a new HDC3 15" then sell my HD3 lastly find some one to recone it for me whether it be AQ themselves or some one else that is knowledgeable about reconing?

change the tuning first.....sounds like the box is at a higher tune than what the x-over settings are at on the amp (possibly the h/u also)

i have a hifonics bxi-1208d amp what would the x-over be box is tuned at 38hz
