need a good cap?

1. Do the big 3. (This will fix the problem. The rest is more amperage which is in turn louder system)2. Upgrade Batt.

3. Get a HO Alt.

4. Enjoy your tunes with no dimming.

It's as simple as that. Homie.
Ummm... I think this says it all buddy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Take a good look at bibby's post, dude.

His FIRST suggestion (and the cheapest charging system enhancement you can do) was to upgrade your vehicle's "Big 3"

The thread detailing this process can be found here.

The suggestions following that were to upgrade the battery and if you still have problems (after following the previous two suggestions) then make a move to a high output alternator.

In response you ask him what his suggestion for the "best" cap for your setup might be.

Nowhere in his post did he mention the use of a stiffening capacitor. If you choose to be obstinate on purpose then here's an answer for you:

Go get butt-***** by buying a 1.5~2 farad capacitor. Make certain that you follow the suggestion of whatever retailer you acquire the cap from in regards to buying a wiring kit (as I'm certain they'll try to suggestive-sell you one).

After spending that $300 give or take and it doesn't provide the results you're after please do NOT come back here whining about it.

We won't care at that point.

Caps do have their uses to a minimal degree. The problem you're trying to cure won't be solved with one and we're trying to steer you the right way but for some reason unbeknownst to the rest of us you adamantly refuse to listen.

Have a nice day.

You will find, which i'm supprised you haven't already, that Audiobahn, and capacitors are the two things that will get you flamed the most on this forum. Almost all of your questions have been about these 2 things. Now, with that siad. We told you that the Audioahn was crap, and you refused to listen. Then they blew, and you came on and said we were right. Now we are telling you no caps. You will buy a cap, still have dimming, and then will come back saying "Why?". I told you in my previous post what to do to fix your problem. Everyone will agree. Just agree, and do it.

Sry man like i said i know im slow sometimes but it takes me longer 2 figure things out for some reason. but im learning im actually in electrical in college to so that is helping me learn alot bout ohms , resistance , ohm meters etc..... so im glad im doing better but i do thank everyone who has helped me through here:)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

That is truly a scary thought........

There is nothing hard to figure out........Its very simple. Read what people have told you do, rather than continuing to ask about a cap.

Electrical WHAT?

baby Jesus weeps...

No im actually doing pretty well for just starting it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif so hopefully i will progress in what im doing:)

DO. NOT. GET. A. CAP.

not a single person in this thread has suggested that. every person in this thread has turned you away from getting a cap.

do the Big 3 and it will more than likely solve all your dimming problems. and will cost less than a cap, which is USELESS.

DO NOT GET A CAPACITOR! DO THE BIG 3!

jesus christ its almost like this guy is a troll

Just like everything electrical its the first begining class so where going through pretty much everything. but i think if i do well through that class that im going to take the more advanced class when i need to choose a new class:)
