I need 2 woofers, for my mid bass, the amp pushing them will need to be at a 2 ohm load. Woofers need to be 8" and VERY Shallow. These boxes are going under the seats, and cannot be big! 2.5-3.5" mounting depth.

I have about 5.125" clearance total, for each seat.

I was looking at the pioneer 8" shallow's. they can handle 120 RMS each and are 4 ohm.

So far that seems to be my only option.

Anybody have any ideas?

2 things....

1. Putting your midbass under your seat makes no sence as far as imaging goes. You want the midbass in you face if possible ie in the kick or it can be in the door but not under your ***

2. I wouldn't use a driver that is a specified subwoofer as a midbass driver. If you want a true midbass driver then look into the 8in Dayton Reference mid or a vifa 7in midbass. They are built to be a midbass and will respond better in that frequencey range. Link to daytons:
