Need 5 channel amp < $250

Would like to sell the 2 amps and crossover I currently have and move to an all in one solution for more space and simplicity.

Alpine 9857 cd deck

6.5 polk coaxials front doors

6X9 JBLs rear deck

2x 10" JL audio 10w1 in the trunk

Looking for bang for the buck here.

So far I found refurbs of the kicker zx700.5 on ebay for $200

and some Alpine MRV-F450 For around the same.

What else should I be looking at?

I am thinking as long as I have

4 X 50 RMS for the front and rear

1 X 200 RMS for the SUBs

I should be good.

Ideas?

I considered a nice 4 channel but want to be able to lower the volume of the rear speakers in relation to the front and my deck has 3 preouts.

Even if you run the rear fill off of the HU you can still (on every HU I've ever seen) fad the volume down for the rear speakers. You'll need to find some deals to fit your budget, but here are a couple options.

-Eclipse XA5000

-Arc Audio 5150XXK

-JBL GTO755.6

You think the JBL is better than the Kicker or alpine. They all cost about the same.

Sound quality is my main concern.

I'd trust in the Kicker, or even look into the Phoenix Gold 5 channel amps. Cheap build quality, but haven't heard anything bad about the sound yet.

I like the JBL amps...I had one of the 6 channels myself. Also, I have a friend that ran the Kicker amps and did not like them as much as the JBLs. The 6 ch is a great deal at the ebay prices.

As far as the SQ...there is a Team JBL member that ran the GTO amps...did pretty good in his class. So there are no issues there.
