I have a neighbor that wants me to get him a single 12" subwoofer for $150 or less shipped. The first sub that came to mind was the jl 12w3 but I thought I'll ask you exsperts first. The amp is a early 90's P.A. single channel. He didn't know what model number and ohms were but I asked him what he had hooked up to it before and he said two 12 pioneers. So this amp probably does 2ohm mono. He also said it's a 300w rms amp so I need a sub for this amp and I think the box needs to be sealed.

Infinity Kappa Perfects's are sure to satisfy your SQ needs. They don't require a lot of power to get pretty loud either. You can get a 12" for about 150 shipped

sq sub?.. look at diamond audio cm312d4's are pretty good for sq.. u can get one for $120 at discountave.net .. they are 400rms or something like that...

or look at alpine type r... they are 300rms.. good sq/sp subs(good mix of both)
